About Us

In 2004Lewisham Council announced plans to demolish Ladywell Leisure Centre in 2007 - we saved it! The pool will stay open until the forecast replacement is ready.  Sadly the plan is awfully inadequate and instead of being a plan for a community sport and leisure centre it is a plan for a lifestyle pool for the new residential developments to be built in front of Lewisham Station.

Tomorrow, Tuesday 22nd March, 7:30 pm at the Methodist Church, Albion Way, SE13.

Area Forum for Lewisham Central, lee Green and Blackheath.

The leaflet that's been delivered through the letter boxes says that this is your chance to talk to your local Councillors about local issues.

Unfortunately, one month ago, at the Area Forum for Ladywell, Brockley and Crofton Park the meeting appeared to be a staged glossy presentation where rather the opposite happened, with the Council telling the residents what they should be talking about.

Let's make sure that this time we don't go there to waste our time.
