Lewisham Council - Building schools for the future:
"Building Schools for the Future (BSF) is the single largest investment programme in education for over 50 years...
... Phase 2 will feature major refurbishment programmes for three schools (Bonus Pastor, Deptford Green and Sydenham) and the construction of a new school in the north of the borough at Ladywell."
It is part of the job description of the Education officers at Lewisham Council to make sure that we all have a basic knowledge of geography.
So, here's an important update to Lewisham geography that the Council wants us all to learn.
With immediate effect, Ladywell stops being in the centre of the Borough. Ladywell is in the north of the Borough. Please update your erroneous mindsets.
It's not right that only Greenwhich with its
observatory and Greenwich Mean Time can decide on important matters
like what's east and west.
In the spirit of equality and devolution Lewisham can surely decide what's north, centre and south. That's Lewisham Mean Place.
Now be good, clear your mind and think that this is the best place to live, work and learn, and repeat:
