Mayor unrepentant for giant mess!
On Monday 7th November 2005 the Mayor of Lewisham finally appeared in front of the sub-committee set up by the Overview and Scrutiny education Business Panel to look at the background of the decision to site a school on Ladywell.
As expected, the meeting was full of extraordinary statements, answers and revelations.
One of these higlights was surely the moment when the Mayor reminded everybody that in February 2005 he had approved the public notice for a new school to open in 2006.
